This is a technical assistance webinar for FY23 Community Project recipients to review the project narrative section of the FY23 Training and Employment Guidance Letter (TEGL) 19-22, which will support the development of each Community Project recipient application to receive their ETA Community Project grant award.

The FY23 Training and Employment Guidance Letter (TEGL) 19-22 was recently published on May 19, 2023, for the FY 23 Community Project Recipients. In order to receive Congressionally Directed funds, eligible applicants must submit applications responding to this TEGL, including all required documents, to Grants.gov no earlier than 12:00 am Eastern Time, August 1, 2023 and no later than 11:59 pm Eastern Time, January 31, 2024.
Eligible applicants for the FY 23 Community Projects are recipients specified in the Explanatory Statement Division H – Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2023, Community Project Funding / Congressionally Directed Spending Table.
All Community Project applicants are required to complete and submit their application’s Project Abstract (by email to CPGrants.ProgramOffice@dol.gov) for ETA’s review no later than July 31, 2023. Full applications must be submitted via Grants.gov as specified above.
Additionally, this technical assistance webinar will go over these TEGL requirements, along with technical support on how to develop the abstracts and write a project narrative that meet the requirements specified in the TEGL.
Community Project recipient staff members invited to this webinar include individuals responsible for overseeing the grant, developing the project application and implementing the proposed project.
