CP Grants Participant Data File Tool

About

This tool is crafted to assist CP grantees with their quarterly performance reporting within the Workforce Integrated Reporting System (WIPS). It consolidates information from two essential reporting resources—the Participant Individual Record Layout (PIRL) and the Demonstration Grants reporting schema—into one comprehensive tool. CP grantees are to utilize the provided Demonstration schema to submit their participant data files.

Key components of the tool include:

Demo PIRL CP Grants: This tab includes descriptions for all the data elements required in the participant data file (176 data elements), specifying which are mandatory (68 data elements), and indicating which elements may be left blank when Demonstration grantees submit the file to WIPS.

DEMO Sample Case Management File: This tab displays a six-row participant data file in DEMO format, complete with data entry instructions in the header rows.

Sample Data File (For WIPS): This tab presents a three-row participant data file that is ready for upload to WIPS after conversion to a CSV file (headers for rows or columns are not permitted).

DEMO Sample File Instructions: This tab provides instructions on utilizing the Demo Sample Case Management File to compile a participant data file.
